A resident of St. Petersburg, a veterinarian by first education, worked as a hairdresser in recent years. On 22 November 2023, she was taken into custody in the case of spreading deliberately false information about the Armed Forces. On 31 May 2024, during a hearing to appeal the decision to extend the measure of restraint, Aleksandrova said that she was threatened by prosecution witnesses. In her opinion, the reason for the case was a land conflict: she was slandered by a neighbour on her summer house plot. On 15 April 2025, Aleksandrova was sentenced to five years and two months in a general regime colony.
