The abbot of the "Moscow Zen Centre", founder of the "Civic School of Hackers", is also known as Arvi Hacker. In May 2023, a report was drawn up on him under the administrative article on discrediting the army (Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences) and he was fined 40,000 rubles. At that time, the police conducted an inspection of Vasilyev's apartment and seized a phone from him. On 20 June 2024, Vasilyev was detained in connection with a case of dissemination of knowingly fake information about Russian Armed Forces. On 22 June, the court sent him to custody. The reason for the case was the posts that were allegedly found in the seized phone. One of the posts was later excluded from the case. On 25 June 2025, the court sentenced him to 8 years in a general regime penal colony. He was also banned from administering internet resources for 4 years.
