Known among anti-fascists as "Sicil". He was detained after a fight with a group of neo-Nazis on Jan 5, 2020, in Moscow together with another defendant Yakimenko Bogdan. On Jan 6, 2020, officers of the Centre "E" and FSB, including Alexey Okopny, came to the department. According to the detainees, they put pressure and threats, trying to induce them to cooperate. The criminal case was initiated under part 2 of article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and item "b" part 2 of article 115 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. One of the attacking neo-Nazis became a victim in the case. On May 29, 2023, Basmanny court sentenced Ivanov to 4.5 years of general regime, as he already had a suspended sentence. The sentence, which was passed by Basmanny court, became the second. The first sentence, under which the antifascists were sentenced to real prison terms, was cancelled by Moscow City Court and sent for a new consideration in April 2022. In the three years that the case has been pending, the antifascists were held under house arrest for a year, then under house arrest, and after the first verdict they spent eight months in pre-trial detention. According to the defence lawyer, Ivanov suffers from epilepsy.
