Paediatrician. The case was opened following a statement by Anastasia Akinshina, whose ex-husband was killed in the war: Akinshina claimed that Buyanova, during a doctor's appointment, said that Akinshina's ex-husband, like other Russian military personnel, was a "legitimate target for Ukraine," that "Russia attacked Ukraine and the Russian Armed Forces are killing Ukrainian civilians," and also "absolutely mockingly" asked whether Akinshina watched the news. Buyanova claims she said nothing of the sort. On 1 February 2024, the same day that the pro-government Telegram channel Mash published Akinshina's story, Buyanova was fired from the polyclinic. On 2 February, the doctor was searched. According to her, the law enforcers seized her mobile phone even before the initiation of criminal proceedings. Buyanova was detained. The next day, the court chose a measure of restraint against her in the form of a prohibition of certain actions. Initially, the case was initiated under Part 1 of the article on the dissemination of "fakes" about the army, but then reclassified to the dissemination of "fakes" about the army on the motive of national hatred (paragraph "e" of Part 2 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code). In addition, a new prosecution witness, F. Nikolaev, who had not been stated earlier, appeared in the case. The investigation also agreed that the child, because of the conversation with whose mother Bujanova was being persecuted, was not present at their meeting. Earlier, the investigation insisted that he was together with his mother during the conversation. On 26 April 2024, Buyanova was placed in custody: the investigation stated that she had left her place of residence without notifying the investigative authorities and went to another region, thus creating conditions that precluded communication with the investigator to summon her for procedural actions, as well as avoided appearing before the investigative body since 22 April to familiarise herself with the case materials. On 31 May 2024, it became known that someone sent Buyanova 20 kilograms of salt to the pre-trial detention centre, which almost exhausted the limit of transfers for the month. Later, it turned out that the administration of the centre did not accept this transfer, but Buyanova could not use the released limit, as the month was over. On 12 July 2024, the court hearing Buyanova's lawsuit against the management of the polyclinic declared her dismissal unlawful. On 23 October 2024, the car that was taking Buyanova to court for a hearing braked sharply and she hit her head, so that she bled. On 12 November 2024, Buyanova was sentenced to five and a half years in a general regime colony.
